How do I become a contributor?
Are you interested in contributing to Fresh Air Fix? We are on the lookout for people who are passionate about the outdoors and want to share their local knowledge with our community.
Take a look at our menus or tags to get an idea of the outdoors related topics we cover, and have a think about what might be going on in your area that our community would like to hear about.
Whether you’d like to be a regular contributor or just submit a one off piece, email us at email@example.com with your idea and a sample of writing, and you could become one of our profiled contributors and be assigned your own ‘region’.
I’ve got some interesting news related to my business or an event to promote, how do I get coverage in Fresh Air Fix?
Simply send us roughly 400 words and an accompanying jpeg image – ideally around 500 pix wide – to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re happy to include a link to your business, but always reserve final editorial control over our news and features. We’d love to publish every story we receive, as long as it’s relevant to the site and its readers. However, due to receiving a high volume of emails, we cannot guarantee that every story will be featured. We always need a cracking photo to go with a story, and you’ll be more likely to get published if you send this with your copy in the first instance.
Does Fresh Air Fix pay its contributors ?
We would love to pay our contributors but Fresh Air Fix is purely a free platform. All our contributors are volunteers and in return, have the opportunity to raise their profile and connect with our community. Any money made through advertising is pumped right back into developing and maintaining the site.
I am interested in advertising on Fresh Air Fix, what next?
