Will you be at the Cycle Show this weekend?

Whether you’re a mountain biker or city commuter, the UK’s largest cycle event at the Birmingham NEC from 30th Sept to 2nd Oct will have something for just about every type of cyclist, and here’s a sneak preview:

-With triathlon becoming more popular than ever, this year will also see a focus on triathlon, with brands including Newton and 2XU making an appearance, as well as a chance for visitors to test their endurance levels and compete in the indoor triathlon. In addition, the new look Cycle Store will have a wide selection of branded clothing, accessories, lights and shoes to buy.

-You can also try out the latest bikes for 2012 on two brand new outdoor demo tracks. For mountain bikers, there will be a purpose built 1km outdoor mountain bike demo track featuring table top jumps, flowing rock drops, low riders, cambered turns, bermed corners and a rolling/pump feature as well as a combination of fast flowing and technical sectors.

-The show will also feature a 600m outdoor road bike demo track – designed specifically with the road bike rider and commuter in mind, offering the chance to try the latest road bikes, including folding and electric bikes on tarmac for an authentic road cycling experience.

-Look out for our friends, electric bike specialists Spencer Ivy, who are celebrating their 1st birthday at the show and will be giving away a short break in the Brecon Beacons.

Happy cycling!
