Sir Jimmy ‘fix it’ Savile promotes outdoor adventures in bonny Scotland

We’re loving this tongue in cheek ‘Choose Your Adventure’ film from the folks at Outdoor Capital, starring the veteran TV presenter and marathon runner.

In the film, which was made to promote outdoor activities around Fort William and Lochaber, Sir Jimmy reflects on a lifetime of outdoor adventures and focuses on mountain biking, ice climbing, skiing in Glencoe, kayaking in Glen Nevis and fell running to the summit of Ben Nevis.

Stunt doubles dressed in the infamous shell suit and classic cigar demonstrate a range of incredible sporting skills and stunts, including street trials You Tube star Danny MacAskill, UK downhill mountain bike pro and skier Joe Barnes, climber Mike Pescod, canoeist Callum Anderson and cyclist and cross country runner David ‘Spook’ Munro

Frazer Coupland, Project Director at the Outdoor Capital and wannabe film director explained why he wanted to get Sir Jimmy on board. “The stunt doubles we used are extremely talented sportsmen who are all at the top of their game but more than anything these guys were up for a laugh!”

Good work guys, loving the gorgeous scenery, awesome stunts, and best of all seeing that Sir Jimmy has still got the ‘fix it’ magic!
