Your chance to contribute to the first ever FAF handbook

Your chance to contribute to the first ever FAF handbook

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been writing the first ever FAF handbook for getting your daily outdoor fix, and would love to include some of your suggestions and experiences!

The idea came to me one morning on the train commute to work, when I was squashed between the sweaty armpits of some rather grumpy commuters and desperately wishing I could head for the hills instead of being stuck behind a desk all day.

I thought there must be so many other people out there like me, who love the outdoors but live an urban lifestyle and want to find easy ways of fitting in a daily ‘fresh air fix’, in between holidays or weekends away.

I started racking my brain for easy, do-able ways to get outdoors in your lunch break, after work, or help you plan something for the weekend. There will be 101 tips in total, some that take just 5 minutes, others that could become a whole new hobby, whilst others are there purely for inspiration on a dark, wintry night.

I would love to include stories from real FAF’ers, and hear how you manage to cram in some outdoor time into your every day, or the problems you face getting the indoor/outdoor balance right. For example, do you know a secret green space near your office which helps you to de-stress? Have you taken up cycling to avoid the commuting crush? Let me know what works for you, and how it has helped you cope with the stresses and strains of urban life.

You can get in touch via facebook, twitter or on email at contact@freshairfix.com. It’s your chance to be part of the FAF revolution, and help get the nation’s workers out of the office and back into the great outdoors!

  1. When the weather is good, we meet with friends on a saturday. Not in our homes, no somewhere nice for wildcamping. Cycling, camping, chatting and cooking in the outdoors. Like a mini holiday! Great :>

  2. In the netherlands you’ve special spots where wildcamping is permitted! O yes I love your just dicovered website.
