The largest UK based event of its kind, Dive Fest 2010 is back in Cornwall from 30th April to 3rd of May following a hugely successful launch last year.
The festival is open to all levels of diver, and the British Sub Aqua Club will be running try-dives and snorkelling sessions all weekend in the two indoor swimming pools. For the more experienced divers, there will be hard boat and RIB diving trips available off the Cornish coast all weekend.
Dive Fest is about celebrating all aspects of diving, so in addition to the water based activities there are also inspiring talks from journalists at DIVE magazine, environmental campaigners from the Shark Trust and Sea Shepherd, and you can even book a session with former Para Andy Torbet and learn some sea survival skills.
Tickets are on sale now and if you buy a weekend pass you’ll get a free beanie hat and meal ticket for the Saturday curry night included. After a day in the chilly waters of the Atlantic, you just might be needing those!
